This weekend, I am heading west to teach a few preppers how to rappel, with that said, I was reviewing a few of my pdf files to give copies to our prospective students. I figure I would share a few of the Army manuals that I've used for years in not only teaching, but reviewing proper mechanics and skills in rappelling. I've also attached the Canadian training manual and another PDF.
I just want to caution you that it would be best that you seek out someone who is trained and done this as part of their occupation. A good course, should not only cover how to do it, but also teach you the necessary safety measures to protect you and also how to inspect your equipment to make sure it meets safety standards.
