  • Alerts

Log in or Sign up to be able to receive alerts.

Alerts are little notifications that show up near your user menu at the top right and notify you of activity that is relevant to you. The alerts box will stay "lit" until you actually look at it, so you can be sure never to miss an alert. Once you read them, alerts will expire after a few hours, but if there's one you didn't quite catch, or there are more alerts than you can see in the small popup box, you can always click on the Alerts link to view all of your recent alerts.

    Sign Up Now!
If you're not already a member, you're in luck! Signing up and adding your avatar at the same time is as easy logging into your Facebook account.

See the Log in or Sign up button at the top right? Click that to slide open the login panel. You will see the Login with Facebook button. Click that to sign up to Racing Forums. You'll be redirected to Facebook to give us permission to link to your Facebook account. Go ahead and click the Allow button on Facebook.

When you get back to Doomsday Prepper Forums, you will see a prompt with two blue buttons asking if you want to create a new account here, or associate with an existing account. What you'll want to do is create a new account, which involves filling out a couple of things to identify yourself on the forums. Your avatar will be automatically copied from Facebook over to Racing Forums. These questions will only be asked the first time you log in with the Facebook button--you can change some of them later in your user menu.

Currently, this trick only works once, and only with new signups. So, for existing users, even if you signed up through Facebook, in order to change your avatar afterward, you'll have to log in and change your avatar by uploading it from your computer. We're working on getting a way to copy your Facebook profile picture any time you want. Stay tuned!
