Google claims its new quantum chip, Willow, may be tapping into parallel universes to achieve unprecedented computational results. Willow, a 100-qubit chip, outperformed the world's fastest supercomputers in a specific benchmark, completing a computation in under five minutes that would take 10²⁵ years on a conventional computer.
