I am a former 0231 in the USMC. I have briefed more than a few generals, to include those of foreign nations, pilots, and grunts and even a SEAL team in Afganistan.

I am of the belief that we as a nation are coming to a cross roads, and we need to prepare for what that looks like.

Are you near an installation that you or the wife either hear chatter about the country or see troop related exercises to confirm your beliefs?
I agree also that America is at a precipice, but at this stage in the game...I do not see my government treasuring the fundamentals that made this country the greatest human kind has ever known.
