Hello everyone!

I am from San Diego and just started prepping about 2 weeks ago. I've been wanting to prepare for the inevitable" Big One" for along time, but was always living paycheck to paycheck Thank God that situation has changed drastically for the positive in the recently.

My family and I just moved into a new house and now that I have the funds, my goal has been to put together my own b.o.b. and one for my wife ( we also have a 8 and 1 year old son ) so I'm gearing up pretty heavy. I Look forward to all the great advise and information to be shared.

Cheers,
Alex

Welcome from Tennessee. We all have a budget . Just picking up something each paycheck like a box of ammo , pack of batteries , emergency candle , first aid kit or medical items can add up .

Welcome from Alabama. A lot of us use prepping for things other than war, etc. Glad to see you're looking at it that way, assuming that by calling it the 'Big One' you mean an earthquake. You're in a great place to learn! We have been prepping for a couple years now and add to our preps as we can.

Welcome to the forum!

I gather you enjoy some CnC from your picture as well. That was a great series. Red Alert 2 was my favorite of all time.
