That's sadd, you could try to make the argument that it's a family heirloom, or that she needs to put something up of equal value. [emoji1]

When I was young I dreamed of owning a US Muscle car, SS, Challenger, Mustang, Road Runner,Charger etc then I found out they handle like **** in corners so my dreams shifted to a Mini Cooper 1275 GT cos they corner like they are on rails and straight roads were just about non existant in the UK when I was young :)

Had the Mini 1275 GTS, with twin SU Carbs. Had a lot of fun in that one. [emoji1]

damn what a shame,,,,,just what vintage is the old lady, she might be the next to go,,,,,,,,,,,damn

In all fairness, I originally put the car on the plate as an option, along with several other items, the car won out. The grand daughter going to Berkeley for her Veterinary schooling, my son (grand daughter dad) quit the Sheriff department and now driving log trucks and now that his work slowed down a bit the Wife wanted to do something to take off some pressure on his Wife.

it was your choice,,,it's just a car,,,a damned nice one but still just a chunk of steel

I do have to say the she is a beaut! It would have been heartbreaking to have to have gotten rid of but your helping that sweet granddaughter of yours with her education. Mom still has dads old '70 Mustang. . like a member of the family and if she ever decides to get rid of, hope she at least gives us girls a chance at it first.

Sweet ride. Makes me reminiscent. I spent a lot of time behind the wheel & under the hood of a friend's SS in high school (mid '70's). Racing it, blowing up something, fixing it, racing it again.....etc..... We sure spent a lot of $$$, but we sure had some fun. That was the prime time for muscle cars.
