Yes you do, nothing like the old vinyl. I had mine boxed up for a long time, I finally did what you're needing to. I had a scuffed up cedar chest that wasn't being used so I stuck it in front of the couch and filled it with albums, it subs as a coffee table, lol. I picked up a turntable at Goodwill if I recall and hooked it up to my Fisher tuner/amp powering my Fisher 16 " woofer speakers w/ midrange and tweeters, I can make the wife beg for mercy.............

There is something in there, not sure what all it is, looks like resistors/diodes sumpin, take your pick, lol. I don't know a whole lot about e'tronics like that.

A buddy bought a pair of JBL Centry 100 tower speakers. They were 6 feet tall and about 2 feet square. He could shake the windows in the barracks across the road from his.
Stairway to heaven was practically the national anthem in the bars we hung out in the Philippines.

Well, curiosity got the best of me, so I pulled the covers and wound up having to dust in there......sigh, but no button.

Ill try and remember to get a pic of mine. I've never saw any others that had the feature. They were purchased in 1980 and still sound great. The receiver still works and is in the basement. I got a Yamaha receiver and CD turntable probly 20 years ago.
