There are 2 things that I am absolutely horrible at, dates & names. Because of the date thing I NEVER remember important dates. This time I was lucky. A week ago I was at Sam's & thought about buying my wife flowers but didn't because my hands were full. Yesterday I was in a store & saw the flowers so I bought some just because I saw them. Blind lucky.

Not really. The tradition of giving cards predates Hallmark by about 200 years, and celebrating the day goes back hundreds of yeaars further. I do agree. I am not buying a $5.00 card either. The Dollar Store gets all of my greeting card business.

I did buy roses (and a card) for my wife, and she surprised me with some goodies. Hope everyone has a special day. Happy Valentines Day.
