The Witch trials and other such nonsense was prevalent in areas with English propper influence like from London area and the Norther parts . Parts of Early America with more of a Whales and Irish influence were and are much more civilized and have better customs and traditions.

Salem witch trials? Huh? I'm not sure (and don't care) how this thread started, but we're talking about over 300 years ago, and 20 people died.

20 people. Let's put that in perspective. 20 babies died in abortions in the last hour. 20 people died directly from drugs in the last 3 hours. Heck, at least 20 people have died from arkancide in the past decade or two.

Threads like this can only be started by idiots who have nothing else to do and are trying to stir trouble. No reason to respond to idiocy like this. So to my fellow preppers, I'd encourage you to no reply to threads started by fools when it doesn't matter. I'd recommend putting them on ignore, it works great for me.

it seems talking about witches touches a nerve or twoo for somebody.

just erase it from history books, with the rest of no-talk subjects and it's sweet and peechy.
