I had never heard that story.
I don't think anyone has. Like all the attempts on other presidents, they hush up to keep the "glory killers" from getting ideas!
I read that.
It's believable that some yahoo would use a rifle scope to get a better look at the President.
It was a .22 and that's not exactly a long range sniper rifle.
