I challenge myself to survive in places where SHTF is ocurring and thrive. I'm from Sonora Mexico and grew up right next to a huge field of "amapola". I learned to use weapons illegaly from one of the Sonora Cartel's most infamous "sicarios" when I was 14. I have been living in some of the worst SHTF scenarios in the world. In the latest situation I been living in Marib in Yemen as you probably know food and watter are scarce there, I have grown my "tribe" to be 83 people living in the less populated areas of Marib. We mostly live inside a underground shelters made from corrugated galvanised steel we actually recently aquired a well that gives us all the water we need. We also sold some cattle for a solar instalation rated at 3 kw and a year of sat internet and phone so far it has been great. We are probably going to aquire 100 Kalashnikov rifles from a local gun seller at some point. Yemen is to say it in the most presidential terms a ******** place to live food is scarce and war is prevalent but even then you can be happy thanks to some Mexican cows. I welcome any questions.

Your English is top notch for someone who is a native Spanish speaker, and probably speaks some Arabic as well.

While you are in Yemen, not sure of your financial situation, but check out Socotra and Summerland Hotel. The island is safe, and has some incredible historic ruins.

Your post was incredibly interesting to me, as when I was 14, I was also illegally trained in weapon use by one of the Sonora Cartel's most infamous "sicarios" and later I moved to Yemen to challenge myself to live in a real SHTF scenario.

While I lived there, I failed to secure any corrugated galvanized steel, and I was forced to use cardboard boxes which I spray painted silver to look like metal. I believe the spray paint increased its strength by a factor of 4, or possibly even 7.

Now I basically hang out on my deck, and drink vodka tonics. You might think this is easy living compared to Yemen, but believe me, the danger is there.

Good luck to you, my friend.

SGS,had I had a coffee with me,I would have blamed you for destroying my keybord ;)
