New member here from Jesup GA. Joined for the sharing of ideas on how to live when sh@t goes sideways, theres no power, the kids are screaming about the internet being down and my dogs are telling me somebodys in the yard.
Few things about myself; Love to fish, Love my 2001 Jeep TJ and playing offroad sometimes, Love the gun collection my late father left me(He was a former Marine Corp LRRP with 2 tours in Vietnam from 1967-1969) Love America and my freedom!!

Got an email about the Vietnam part. I wasnt saying i did two tours in Nam but was saying my father did. Sorry for the confusion

howdy from a Texan .... and welcome to the forum and family...there's quite a few knowledgeable folks here that'll gladly tell ya what you need to know,or at least point ya in the right direction and/or give ya a good idea or 2..and by all means jump right on in with any replies you have on a topic.and start new topics if/when needed.

My apologies for the confusion in my hello post. I didnt mean i had completed two tours in Nam. I was referring to my father, the father who left me a very nice gun collection, He was the man who did that. My apologies for any confusion there

Ouch. No, the confusion was all mine. I was very tired & sleepy. I really thought I'd corrected my mistake (after I went back and re-read what you had clearly stated) and was hoping no one would notice that I was an idiot. But I guess I'm busted. :( Not sure how that edited post showed up in yours or anyone's notifications. Sorry, I'm not usually this stupid...well, at least far as most people know. :rolleyes:

LOL i was wondering why i couldnt see your response on the thread but it showed up in my email. I had chalked it off to being unfamiliar with this forum. No big deal either way and i certainly didnt take offense at it. I guess thats one way to break the ice on a new forum lol
