howdy from a Texan.... and welcome to the forum and family...there's quiet a few knowledgeable folks here that'll gladly tell ya what you need to know,or at least point ya in the right direction and/or give ya a good idea or 2..and by all means jump right on in with any replies you have on a topic.and start new topics if/when needed...

i see that you posted in welcome lady preppers,and that your from Montana and that you also have at least some concerns about family members..you might try pointing out how previous winters went..and how things went during a winter freeze,when it comes to food,water,electric,heat,and meds if any..natural disasters is a good way to point out how things can go.and that their good reasons to prep for certain situations.and if all else fails.point out how things went during hurricane Katrina..

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome! Yesterday I helped my hubby and a friend process one of the deer they harvested. I really tried to pay attention so I can do it if I ever have to. It's awesome to have so much meat in the freezer! and cheap! and healthy!

Hello Luv2Prep!!!! Welcome! Its nice to see someone else from Montana and I had to stop by and say greetings from a prepper north of you by a couple of hours. Hope your not getting as buried in snow as we are right now. See you in the forums and hope you find what you want and learn tons.
