Hello from Oakland

New here....obviously..

I live in Oakland, which is pretty much already post-apocalyptic.
The violent crime rate is through the roof and I live in one of the worst neighborhoods so I already had to be prepared before I got into DD prepping.

The only difference is now i'm prepping for a different setting.

I'm not big on conspiracy theories and many consider me a skeptic but I know things are going to get way way worse before they get better and I want to be prepared.

Wow. Welcome. I always wondered why we don't see more people from areas like Oakland, Chicago, or other places where things are almost war zones.

Thanks for joining and good luck with your prepping. I can only imagine the extent of planning & prep that it takes to get out of dodge in a place that is in that situation. At least you have found a good place to network so you can try to link up with like minded people.

Welcome...Right off the bat I ask 2 questions... Do u have an evacuation plan? Is that even possible given the locations of work/school/home? Do u have a secondary location in Oakland to move to, or store more items?
