Hello all. My name is Logan and my wife is Tammy. We are just getting started on the road of prepping. We have taken a few small steps but that is about it.

Most of what we know comes from me growing up in SC. I am a country boy, so I have a bit of knowledge just from that. I have been mentally preping for a while but nothing practical really. We know we have a lot to learn.

Thanks

Logan

I really think the "Mental aspect" of prepping is vastly underrated by most folks. The mental aspect is 80% of anything as far as I'm concerned.

Being a "Country Boy" as you put it is a good leg up too, in my opinion. Some folks are what I call "Supply preppers" and then there are "Survivalist preppers" who, more often than not, are country folks who spent time outdoors. Lots of hunting, fishing, boy scouts, building forts(Yes I'm serious) and other outdoorsy activities allow them to get by rather comfortably with very little. I was a fan of the latter, tried my hand at the former, and I'm finally feeeling a balance of the two. I still lean towards survivalist prepping though as I feel it is more efficient.
