It is all in the title.....
I would go with the unique stitch or a quick basic hand stitching - they are usually long straight seams.I want (need to) add a replacement flannel liner to a monster sleeping bag.

Question for ya, Chief: Is the "monster sleeping bag", umm.. 'Filletable'? Ergo: can ya unzip it Totally wide-open / flat? Asking, as If-Not, then I won't waste yer time with my .02-suggestion.

Huh?No will not lay flat opened. And there is nothing to stitch too. It has huge baffle along the top and bottom side zipper. I have other redundant (same bags) new in the box.

It weighs 17 pounds, is 39" wide, 92" long and the bag has about 7" loft, and rated for 35f below zero. So, the top half and bottom half are each three and half inches thick.unless that bag has no mass or substance
The is two bags zippered together. The 3rd image in your link shows it laid out flat.
