Formerly jnrdesertrats here. I thought I would change my handle. As some of you know we lived in the Mojave Desert most of our lives. The desert has a beauty all it's own but we were just over the shades of brown. Plus as we got older the heat was murder. So we purchased a large property on east side of the Cascades in Oregon. It is our biggest prep yet. We now have an natural water source and plenty of room for crops and critters. Glad we found you all again.
