Long time mental prepper but new actual prepper so ready to get down to brass tacks. Spouse thinks I'm a bit paranoid but, hey, he still has cases of MREs in the attic.
It's good to see more Tennessee preppers joining.Welcome from Tennessee. Alot of Folks see no reason to prepp untill the lights go out .
There's a Mexican food place on Fredericksburg Rd called Yolanda's Uptown Cafe. Maybe?Welcome. Ditto on the attic storage. Cool dry conditions are the best for food storage. Unfortunately that's hard to come by in San Antonio. Great place though, lived there for a year in the mid 80's. Is there still a place called yalondos tacos? Drool.....
I don't remember the road, but it was just called Yolanda's tacos. Nothing uptown or fancy about it, but amazing food! One taco covered the entire dinner plate and was loaded with shredded beef and everything else under the sun. Damn, I'm hungry again....There's a Mexican food place on Fredericksburg Rd called Yolanda's Uptown Cafe. Maybe?
That sounds awesome. I'll have to ask around.I don't remember the road, but it was just called Yolanda's tacos. Nothing uptown or fancy about it, but amazing food! How did you fare with all the rain there?
This was in the early 80's, so those people may be long gone by now. Funny, most people remember their accomplishments throughout their lives. I remember the good food! That sounds awesome. I'll have to ask around.
We hardly got hit...maybe 4". Once the storm hit the eastern edge of town, it started dissipating.
