Hi guys. It seems that the government is having gun stores assigned specific numbers in their merchant/credit card banking information so gun purchases can be tracked. The ATF will be able to track all credit card purchases at gun stores. What are your thoughts? See below:

This I do since years whenever i can. I'd rather to not buy something when the seller accept credit cards only. Until now I always got my stuff I'd like to have.

Another good reason to use cash whenever possible. I use CC's for a lot of things, but only cash for guns and ammo.

The creation of a Merchant Category Code for guns and ammo is really only affect gun shops. The MCC is a code the owners for their business when signing up for a payment processing system.
Is everything at a BPS going to go under the Gun and Ammo code? Or will it be under the sporting goods code? Maybe the stuff rung up at the gun counter. But if I picked up a box of shells and went to the front checkout with other items, it would be the sporting goods code.
Is Joe’s Hardware or the Grocery store I was in that had Guns and Ammo going to change their code? I don’t think so.
Because of the Kommunist Republik, I have paying cash for 3 years now in other states.
