Look behind you in that dark corner.
Two recipes:
Each begins with your favorite corn bread recipe sans the milk or water.
3 eggs.
Add 1 cup of finely chopped and cooked poke salad, spinach or really any favorite green and enough broth to make the batter.
and a 1/8 th cup of onion. bake as normal.

Now we start with the fancy stuff:
Using the above batter, add a cup of stewed tomatoes and some basil, rinse a half cup of cottage cheese or use feta cheese and add
to the mix, bake as usual.

And finally, from a lady dear to me, Seattle day bread.
1 package of crispy fried bacon
4 eggs
a cup of mashed potatoes.
1/4 cup of Shredded cheese.
Mix with white corn meal and add buttermilk until you can stand a spoon in it, add a splash of bacon grease and bake in a pan
coated in the same grease.

Oh yeah, and then there's this for football parties:
Make a batch of corn bread batter.
Add a cup of crushed bacon and a package of boiled hot dogs cut into chunks.
Serve with your favorite condiment like mustard or horse radish ketchup.
