Homemade Diddy Poles for Catfish

I've been doing A LOT of fishing on the Missouri River lately. My son and I set out trotlines and diddy poles.
The diddy poles (bank poles) are the best!.....especially when baited with live gold fish. Here's a video I put on my YT channel that shows how to make the poles and how to use them. The catfish at the end of the video was a 40 pound Flathead.

I'm not sure about the laws in all States, but most States have provisions for Bank Poles, however you might have to put your Name and Address on it if you leave it over Night. Check you Fish and Game Laws if in doubt.

Beats me! Missouri has a 33 hooks per person limit, and u have to check them at least once in a 24 hour period.
