In the UK Off Grid Basics video, I was confused. Why was he worried that people would complain about him building something on his own land? The way he was talking it was like he was squatting on someone else's land, but he clearly said he bought the land.
But he seemed more worried about having the neighbors' permission than having legal permission.Two primary reasons (1) Even though he owns the land outright in the UK he cannot build any structure without planning permission, people commonly have to build a structure and have it mounted on wheels so they could technically move it, thus proving to the state its not a permenant structure.
