Now is there a video on how to stop the wind from blowing the very minute you start to fold it? It can be the calmest, windless days and the moment I spread that thing on the ground gale force wind appears.
As an old truck driver I fold my tarps like an old truck driver.
When I'm done, the rolled tarp, which is about 2 feet wide at this point, can be rolled out over the load, right down the center, and then unfolded with each side dropping down over the load.
Easy peasy. And it's always nice for the fork lift operator who just loaded you to lift the rolled tarps up with the blades and deposit them on top of the load.
Nah.
My wife DID drive 18 wheelers, but she pulled dry vans. No tarps needed.
And besides, any woman tough enough to put up with my crap doesn't take orders from ANYONE.
Got a medium duty plastic tarp two months old on a boat, already sun burned and starting to rip in a couple of places.
The real tarps last well if you keep them sprayed. A year in hot sun will rot even the best now days.
