Howdy From NH And MO

Hi friends. I am an old hang around from when Neil Shelton ran a homesteading forum at this host. I think I have an old account on HomesteadingToday as well but never got into it there much.

I have five acres of woods in Missouri where I will hopefully be moving to this spring to build my off-grid woodstead. I'm currently spending the winter in New Hampshire.

I think I recognize a few names, I'll be checking things out here regularly as I prefer forums to facebook.

Neil is a good guy, I've been in touch with him on and off for years. Do you remember FolioMark that had the land in MO that he bought from Neil?
Mark was one good guy, so sorry when he dropped out of internet, and later passed on.

I've already informed everyone on the facebook side.

I can't say I remember Mark, I think that was before my time. I bought my land in late 2013 and have only made a couple trips so far.

I started to buy some land, but then decided 4 hours from home was going to be where it would not work for me. I wish I had. FolioMark was on HT also, and he would draw out little houses to help folks out. He was a costume designer, etc. A Librarian, and he did it from a wheelchair. If others of the old homestad.org come by, there is bound to be a couple that remember Mark.

Never met the gentleman, but read through all 100 pages or so of the Missouri Chronicles. Can't find them now, so I guess they are gone from the internet.
