Actually, I moved here 4 months ago; one of the reasons is because it's one of the best places for a serious prepper to relocate.

There are simply too many people, too much traffic, too many rules and regulations; and, after forty years, I wanted someplace new. Actually, Idaho wasn't my first choice, but the places I wanted to live in southern Utah were too expensive.

Idaho does have some beautiful country. I will never leave Arizona. I just love this state, it would be perfect if we could get rid of the darn California liberals that keep moving here to escape high cost of living, they voted in. If Arizona ever voted in an open season on Liberals, it would be perfect.

It would terrify me too. No white fluffy stuff, ever again.

Parts of Idaho get very little snow. And when it does snow it only lasts a couple of days. Lewiston for example is the lowest point in the State and is on the mouth of the Clearwater and Snake rivers. But don't tell anybody. There's already too many people here now.

But how many degrees is it in the winter? If it's ever negative then it's too cold.

The lower elevation towns don't see many, if any below zero days. Even at my elevation we've only had a few zero days or colder this year. Right now it's very mild, only in the 20's but next week should be back in the single digits or colder. You just dress for it.
