Idea on Keeping ***** out of the Corn

So here's an idea that a patient of mine told me about. She has problems with ***** in her sweet corn, so she puts a radio on a 'talk station' and puts a bucket over the top of the radio to keep it out of the weather. She also puts the radio on a timer so that it is on at night when the ***** come to visit. Animals don't like to go near people taking apparently, because she has not had any issues since she started doing this.
Not sure if this works on other animals, but it would be a great experiment.

We always used a temporary electric fence set low to the ground.

I have heard that they do not like chaos or noise. I was told that making noise keeps them away, especially if they have young. They are greedy and will get your corn if you do not protect it.

Stepdad puts up an electric fence. 3 stands, lowest being 1' or less high. top one closer to 4' to help a little with the deer. only way he can harvest corn anymore.

Old Indian trick: plant a large "moat" of squash vines around the corn patch. ***** hate walking on the prickly leaves and will generally avoid crossing a wide patch of it, even if it means foregoing the corn.
