Before the word prepper most of us that liked to be self reliant or prepaired were called suvivalist . I got started with the magazine from Robert K Brown and others from the late 70's and early 80's . One of the best would be infomation gatherd by Kurt Saxon . There is a seller on Ebay that has permision to put all his books and such on PDF disk . I bought 2 copies of each recently . Kurt wrote The poor mans James Bond . I hear he is now in a assisted living home . This is filmed and put togeather several years ago and may seem old school to younger students but the info is as useful now as anytime if not more so . It's as if Kurt put it togeather decades ago knowing we would need it today .

Posting links and such is beyound my tech savy . Go to Ebay and search KURT SAXON and you will find it easy . 2 disk and in the description the seller states he has the right to sale Kurt's items or somthing like that . I started this thread because I know most everyone on this site will like this information . One of the most interesting parts is the rarrly seen video's he made . I caught mine on auction he also list them on buy it now .
The ones I bought are the plain white ones 2 disk . I looked at them agin and the seller is preciousisthelord . The other one listed under them is just 1 of the disk but it says dvd on the lable I havn't tried mine in a dvd player it is listed as pdf . One thing is this material is " from back in the day " some of Kurts stuff may not be political correct . Some may be border line legal . But these are very interesting and contain intel that would cost $$$ if purchased indavidualy .
For new preppers needing information check these out its just great info you may not find anymore . I have no connection with the seller and dont care where you buy from I just want anyone looking for information to have acsess to it . Not sure if Kurt is still around but he combined years of research into this that will save you time and money .
Found a DVD just called Country Living on E bay that shows lots of ways to supply water and electricty off the grid . It is very detailed and explains the subject well . Also the Kurt Saxon disks mentioned above have all the Poor mans James Bonds on them and for some reason the original Gun Smoke and The Shadow radio sieries . I guess for entertaiment while you are bugged in and working on projects .
I haven't seen the disks in question, but I'm always leery about buying stuff sight unseen, especially given the age of the content.
If you guys want some free info I have stuff collected on thumbdrives that are making the rounds. I'd just need a snail mail address to send them to with a promise that you'd send them back so they can get passed on to the next person in line waiting to receive them.....

Kurt Saxon is very much known amongst those of us involved in the survivalist movement in the early days, poor mans james bond I believe was banned in some countries, some of his books are good though I wasn't one of them followers that worshiped him as some appeared to have did in the 80s/90s he interjected a great deal of politics in a lot of his writings that pretty much painted a bulls eye on much of the movement though today some of his political warnings have come to light after 9/11 so, maybe he wasn't as nuts as some of us had thought though that doesn't mean I agree with his ideology!!!!!

I never met anyone that worshipped Kurt but many liked his work because he was not affraid to speak of topics many would not . I like his survivalist teachings some of his stuff does not fit into my preps but most do . Ones politics should show in everything you do as it is made up of your core value .
His past associations was a major turn off for me, meaning when I say worship, as in taking his word as gold at the time, as stated above, I did like some of his writings
