My name is Cal Gibson and i'm a very newbie prepper, if i'm even a prepper at all infact.
I always knew I should start prepping, many many years ago, but something about me just kept that hope that everything would be fine and i'd die as an elderly man, in a rocking chair on my front porch.
Obviously this is not going to happen.
Straight up, If i don't start prepping now, i'm going to die in my early 20's not having achieved anything in life and being completely helpless towards my own death.
I've joined this forum to get a grip on what exactly prepping consists of and to support (and receive support from) other preppers. The current world situation is in the most basic way, not good. ESPECIALLY the way things are escalating between some of the most powerful countries, need i even list them?
I'm prepping specifically for Nuclear War. A lot of people who I attempt to discuss this with are always saying that i'm stupid and it's not going to happen. Sometimes I think that they're not even aware of what's happening up top whilst we go on about our lives. I know that there is no reliable media source, I am well aware of this, but there's plenty of evidence that tensions are arising between major countries and Nuclear War is well on it's way.
I'm not massively educated on the whole situation and that's what i'm working on as we speak, constant research every night after work.
But yeah, there's my introduction and what i'm prepping for.
