This is billed as a Post Apocalyptic Comedy Sci-Fi Action film. Yeah, it's got all of them, but not all at the same time, LOL. You'll have a serious scene and then an absolutely hilarious scene.

Iron Sky I (pre apocalyptic)
Nazi's survived after WWII by going to the moon and hiding on the "dark side" of the moon (actually it's the far side of the moon). They found an elixir that makes them immortal so they take their sweet time planning on how to take over the Earth using a doomsday machine. They have hit a roadblock in the development of the doomsday machine because the computer needed to control it takes up a whole room. (Some of their tech is still WWII) Some come to Earth to reconnoiter, and contact President Sarah Palin who welcomes their attack because she thinks it will help her get reelected. They discover iPhones and iPads and take an iPad back to the moon to control their doomsday machine. And so on...

People are leaving earth because it has become uninhabitable and some get to the moon where they encounter the descendants of the Nazis. The official religion worships Steve Jobs, because of the iPad they used to control the doomsday machine. (One of the most hilarious scenes I've ever seen, LMAO until I cried.) Then it gets weird from there...LOL

Wait it gets weird from there? After everything else? I don't think I want to know what "weird" is.
I tried to watch Iron Sky one time but I was unable to suspend my disbelief. Moon Nazis and Sarah Palin was just too much.
