Outlawing unacceptable books and texts (Politics, Off gridding, Gun manuals, etc)
Outlawing of centre right and right wing NEWS MEDIA sources, channels, blogs, pages, radio stations etc
Banning of online message encryption capabilities for the public

Cultural / political indoctrination in schools
Making HOME SCHOOLING socially unacceptable
Children encourage to report parents activities to teacher
No platforming ALL Conservative / Republican speakers in colleges

Requiring all permanent residences in CONUS to be connected to local utilities (Gas, Sewage, Power, Water) even if the owners are off grid
Prohibition of private owned wells / boreholes
Prohibition of Heritage seeds.
Off Grid living to be discouraged
Food "" Hoarding"" to be outlawed.

Limiting HAM radio usage/ power/ range etc.

Moving economy to CASHLESS society (thus allowing TRANSACTION TAXES)

Vetting and Loyalty requirements for working for State and Federal offices and agencies
Ever more centralisation of governmental agencies and services.
Hotlines for neighbors to report politically unacceptable activities .

You just described heaven to half of America. Hell to the other. Sadly, I believe the "hell" side is the law and order side and I don't think most will fight back, so a CW will be a one sided blood bath except in the rural areas where they will wait for the trouble to come to them, and the gov't will finish them off. As Dandy Don used to sing, turn out the lights, the party's over. I am trying to sell off and move to Alaska, where they cannot take your guns because you truly need them to survive, and there just isn't enough law enforcement to go door to door.

Anyone who thinks "banning guns" is the answer to all of the gun violence, even though 98% of it is perpetrated by criminals with illegally owned guns, while simultaneously saying the jails need to be emptied, is the biggest idiot I can think of, and sadly, that is HALF of AMERICA. They will get what they deserve, but so will the rest of us who knew better. F them ALL.

All of Bidens and Kamalas plans need lots of money, and I mean lots and lots. If they starting draining the uber rich, that'll go fast. Didn't France do that a few years back, and alot of people moved? So, what....money reset? I bet on that. I wouldn't be surprised if a monthly basic income check to everyone is started, but after awhile, no one will see the point of working (see Atlas Shrugged). Many don't see the point of working anyway. Welfare benefits have never been cut because it's always argued that it's racist. I know a number of liberals. They are expecting a doubling of minimum wage, free medical, free college, cheap housing, and a basic income for existing. I would think Biden/Kamala would be focusing on raising taxes tremendously, getting money from some of the rich (maybe the ones they don't like), and working these social freebies first, because that is what is expected from their marxist groupies. I'm hoping that the red states will decide that they don't want to be taxed to death, and we go our split ways. I know it's a longshot.

The left will most likely try to finance their insane social welfare programs with new forms of taxation, one that can be levelled at everyone, and not be dodged. So I would expect to see a push for a Cashless society quickly followed by a transaction tax. but something, sell something, pay a bill, move some money, gift some money and with a cashless society they can automatically tax ever transaction at the point it is made.

Which folks like us will inevitably counter with a black market barter system.

Yep, BillMasen, you are right. We will be taxed to death on things we don't want to pay for. That happened to us a long time ago, and then we won a revolution.
Meanwhile, I can see a barter system that will be growing. Although the government will call it a black market and say it's illegal.

The "rich" dont have nearly enough money to fund these programs. They will HAVE to raise taxes and fees tremendously on everyone, including the 50+% that currently don't pay any taxes.

What you said PLUS the Fed still printing and releasing billions of extra dollars into the market, and the free handout money ($1400?) all devaluating the dollar. the future does look bleak (for all of us) because if the dollar goes down a global crash is inevitable, AND the Yuan and Rubel will surge. The petrodollar could be worthless before long. AND THE LEFTS RESPONSE IS ALWAYS THE SAME

1 Increase taxation on the rich and wealth creators.
2 Raid pensions and saving schemes like your 401Ks
3 Increase purchase and fuel taxes
4 Massively increase welfare spending on their favourite minority groups
5 Line their own pockets
6 Isolate themselves in gated secure communities
7 Buy the Police.

He who has sh1tloads of cached food, fuel, meds, ammo, seeds, potable water and security contingencies SHOULD come through this. BUT BUT BUT BUT BUT remember this. YOU folks know major economic problems are on the horizon, I know as well, and so do THEY the NEW & OLD elites. They are still printing and releasing billions of paper dollars into the market to temporarily appease the " we are entitled" crowd, whilst they themselves diversify into gold, silver, bitcoin, property, land etc.

From the rich cross party ruling OLD money elite with their homes on those isolated little islands down the east coast ( Hamptons?? ) to the Big Tech NEW money BIG TECH boys with their bunkers, retreats, isolated homesteads, gated secure communities etc. The ordinary (sic) silly rich with their little Caribbean islands and mega yachts etc and of course the likes of Bezos and Gates who have bought up tens of thousands of acres of farmland (and low population scrubland) .

Have y'all noticed how why the people in charge constantly rail against us ordinary people who choose to live off grid, self sufficient, prepper or homesteader lifestyles. With ever more laws and restrictions on our water supplies, wells, bore holes, sewage systems, power supplies, heritage seeds, home schooling, house building regulations, guns and security equipment, animal welfare rules and other constraints they appear to really dislike people they cannot easily control?

Yet the elites themselves are quietly moving to build or buy retreats, bunkers, homesteads etc buying islands or remote farms with levels of independence we can only dream of?

The writing is on the wall , its there to be read, will you read it and take every SENSIBLE and CONSIDERED steps you can to improve your preps as best you can within your ability and budget. I dont think doing nothing is a viable option.
