What is everyone's opinions on Jill Stein calling for recounts and the 6 (so far) delegates that aren't voting for Trump on December 9th?
I saw she's raised over three million dollars so far to investigate it. My personal opinion is Trump is the next president now. Unless they find some real 'smoking gun' of fraud or something big, he is it. Might as well sit back and give the guy a chance now. I do think it's time to loose the electoral crap though. Popular vote is fair, period. What is everyone's opinions on Jill Stein calling for recounts and the 6 (so far) delegates that aren't voting for Trump on December 9th?

Totally disagree on the popular vote. california, new York, Texas and Florida would elect every president. how many of the voters on these border states aren't even citizens. No matter how many illegals or dead people vote in California, they are held to a certain number of deligates. The Electoral College guarantees that every state has a vote.I saw she's raised over three million dollars so far to investigate it. My personal opinion is Trump is the next president now. I understand why it was started, but still think the only fair way is by what each individual wants. Twice now it went against what the people voted for, that's twice too many. Even I'd Montana only has a fraction of the people compared to the more populated ones, their votes don't get lost, just added into the whole.Totally disagree on the popular vote. california, new York, Texas and Florida would elect every president. how many of the voters on these border states aren't even citizens. Exactly. the whole left coast and New York would be deciding and those people do not represent the way most of America thinks. Neither Trump or Clinton really campaigned in CA, OR or WA because there was no need to, those people vote Democrat. @robinjopo is 100% correct.Totally disagree on the popular vote. california, new York, Texas and Florida would elect every president. how many of the voters on these border states aren't even citizens. I still stand that a direct election is the only fair way to do it. As far as fraud goes, there's been no real evidence given anywhere. Both parties throw the term around to boost their case, but it's baseless. Remember, the big cities are filled with Americans too. You can't just dismiss someone's vote because it's not to your liking. This election is a prime example of why they didn't want a direct election. They did NOT want a few large cities steamrolling the rest of the country.
Massive voter fraud in just one large city could throw the whole national election. (think Chicago reporting 20 million votes for Hillary)

THe Founders knew what they were doing. We don't want to be a Democracy. We want to be a Representative Republic.
I needed a good laugh this morning,,,,,,,,,it's a shame that you are right thou...............Yep the Founders knew what they were doing but the problem is here 200+ years later and our government is still in the dark and don't know what they are doing.....
According to research done by the Pew Center:I still stand that a direct election is the only fair way to do it. As far as fraud goes, there's been no real evidence given anywhere.
All that is true, however it's due to clerical laziness, not fraud. There is still no proof that any of it was used to vote illegally. I have not seen one documented case where a dead person cast a vote in this election yet, and every time a person moves they don't cancel voter registration with their old residence. Again, not a single documented case of voting in two states by someone. I do see these issues as a potential for fraud though, and think the govt should come up with a more secure system. We all have a social security number in this country, tying your vote to it shouldn't be too hard.According to research done by the Pew Center:
If you want documented proof of specific instances, just Google "documented voter fraud 2016". There is AMPLE "real evidence." Even the mainstream media admits it:
- Approximately 24 million—one of every eight—voter registrations in the United States are no longer valid or are significantly inaccurate.
- More than 1.8 million deceased individuals are listed as voters.
- Approximately 2.75 million people have registrations in more than one state.

I find it amusing that trump constantly said the election was rigged, at least until he won. I'm sure there was someone somewhere that found a way to cheat, but believe it was minimal at best.True, all the documented cases are from previous elections. But it's been less than a month since the election, and the previous documented cases didn't come to light immediately.
I've seen instances of boxes of hidden absentee ballots that were found years later .All that is true, however it's due to clerical laziness, not fraud.
