My Daughter (2nd from the youngest) was walking behind the trailer loaded with bales of hay when a baling wire broke on one of the bales, the wire snapped back embedding into her leg bone. Hearing a scream on the radio I rushed out to the barn, after cutting the wire leaving about 3" sticking out from the skin it took an hour to get to the clinic, she didn't shed a tear apparently thinking I would get mad :( luckily the trailer was low and not my taller one's otherwise I fear it would have been a lot worse. So she is down for awhile :(

She even smiled for the camera, she didn't volunteer the smile I assure you, yes I got a glare.

You never know when something like that is going to jump up and get you. One time I was walking barefoot and stepped on a clothes hanger. The hook end went clear through my foot. Being careful is very important, but these kinds of things are still going to happen.
Speedy recovery to your daughter.
