I just heard from an FBI Negotiator that the nut job who kidnapped a 5 year old in Alabama, after shooting the bus driver. He has been barricaded, with the 5 year old, in an underground bunker for the past two days.

News reported previous mental issues and im sure they will soon report that he is one of those redneck ,fully automatic gun toting , tea baggers, KKK member, anti -american , nra member ,republican, etc...I will pray for that childs save return to his family.

In any group there are bad apples, but the public at large sees people on DDP tv shows and know neighbors like us, so I think they'll know this guy is a friggin Delta Bravo, not a DP.

How sad for the child and family....didnt hear about this until I read your posts....I'm a homeschooling mom and I am used to dealing with people who criticize me for what I do...Oh, and as a Catholic convert, also used to hearing everything..."how could you...why would you...priests molest the boys, etc"...yada yada yada... Every nut job who does anything, they have to condemn the whole society that may be whatever he is religiously, socially, politically, etc...Let's face it, there are nut jobs in every race, religion, private school, govt schooled or homeschooled,...doesnt matter the age or where ya live...they're out there.

Dont get me wrong this guy is a nut job. I am paying close attention to this hostage stand off. They have no idea on how much water, food, and weapons he has. This will cause law enforcement to become frustrated and thats when we will start to hear about why we should not allow people to prep for doomsday. Especially if this carries on for weeks if not months. This is when law enforcement will realize how much of a problem "preppers" will be if they deceide to serve a warrant or arrest one. I am paying close attention to how hard it will be for law enforcement to end this stand off. At which point I will study his set up (assuming the goverment releases this info) If he can stop law enforcement from getting to him than I would guess he could do a pretty good job with maruders.

I agree this ass is going to cause some serious problems for those like us. Many people already look at preppers as a bunch of paranoid loons, this guy will only make things worse. Now you are going to have to register your underground "bunker." tell the government how much food you buy, or inform the government if you buy in quantity.
