We ended up watching this movie last night. It is kind of slow, but really makes ya think about how prepared you are, what to expect from your neighbors, and how to survive in times of uncertainty. Please try to watch this movie and tell me what you thought, what you would do differently, and how ill prepared you actually are.

There appears to be several movies with that title. What actors are in that movie...??? Or a link....???

I never base my survival on fictional movies.
my life experience is more relevant than any movie.
This movie is obviously fiction, but mentions key points on how a country can destroy itself from within, by using just 3 points. At the end it shows what a well prepared bunker should look like, provided you had more money that 99% of the general public.

If anyone finds access to this movie, other than Netflix, please post that.

bunkers can be blocked off and they are useless, in any case I'm a nosy so and so, I like to be above ground and to see what is going on and who is about.

@lonewolf in those circumstances we should want to be nosy so and so’s and see what is going on. A great bunker could be attached to or under your house, garage, shed.
I’ll be looking for that movie @havasu

Hard pass. I want nothing to do with the Obama’s even if it means not watching Julia Roberts.

Perhaps this is just another way for those who are in opposition to being prepared to make money off of those who are preppers or conspiracy theorists? (Research the actors' political and moral viewpoints).
Angry deer. Flamingos in New York (I say they came from the Bronx zoo). Disconnection from children on everything. Addictions. Trying to pluck at the climate change heartstrings. Electric cars drive themselves into accident chain from dealerships to clog roads? I believe in having candles but seriously doubt most people do, as shown in movie.
Misinformation (is everywhere).
Isolation (we are in crowded isolation as people don't connect the way they used to).
Dysfunction of government (isn't this where we are now?)
Synchronized chaos, lack of communications and transportation. Civil War. Collapse. How close are we to that at times, here in the U.S.?
>When you're driving a Jeep Cherokee facing oncoming traffic and the traffic is staying on the paved road and the area next to the road is flat and grassy...um, go for the grass? 🤔 They could have gotten that one right.
Or maybe watch for discussions on forums so the producers can see what they missed?

Places like this is where they get their ideas. We can post some crazy tinfoil hat stuff. A couple weeks later boom there it is.

It is a Netflix film. Since it just came out, it will be a while before it is available elsewhere, unless there is a pirated copy out there somewhere.

In that food pantry, someone needs to repackage a bunch of food. It is in the original paper packages, which means its will get stale, bugs and rodents. That was one of my favorite scenes!

We watched it. Little granddaughter was not impressed with the young daughter's obsession with "Friends". I was wondering why everyone was so dishonest with each other, all the main characters. It was entertaining. The deer.....magnetic disruption?

I won't watch it b/c I loathe the Obamas and won't support anything they do. I've seen enough end of the world movies to last me a while. Maybe I'll rewatch Jerico if I have that much spare time on my hands. Although I don't see that happening any time soon.

Dan Bongino was talking about this movie today on his radio show. He said he wasn't impressed with the movie and the ending sucked, but he said that's not the point. He said what you really need to do is notice that a former POTUS that had daily intel briefings has put this movie out. Why? B/c elites can't shut their pie holes about stuff! That is why he said he is concerned about the movie. He then put out a blurb from Fox News regarding a similar type of event threat. I can't remember exactly what it was now, but it was today's 'headline news'. He pointed out how 'coincidental' it was that these things came out at the same time. He was setting off alarm bells again today. Get ready folks....be prepared! I appreciate the fact that he is trying to motivate people.

If 'they' are putting this crap out there, then they fully expect to implement it. Just like with Covid.....although that didn't really turn out like they had hoped. We may not be as lucky with the second attempt.

It is concerning that these psycho's are shoving it in our faces. I fully expect some sort of internet or all out grid failure before the elections. It's pretty clear that's how they want to play this. I sure hope people are getting camping gear, clothing, LTS foods, med kits, coolers, emergency radios, heavy blankets, etc. for Christmas gifts this year. Sadly, I think they're gonna need em' sooner than they might think.

I really didn't like any of the characters. The homeowner wasn't even grieving over his wife and was almost going to hop into bed with the other lady. The homeowner's daughter didn't like white people, because they are white, and invited the other guy to vape pot with her, and she was just a pain. The lead family....the wife was in a bad mood all the time, didn't seem to like her husband much, was ready to hop into bed with the homeowner. The husband was a total wuss. Flirty with the homeowner's daughter. Let his wife get out of the car and check things out when things were bad. Wouldn't help a lady stranded on the road. Not much of a man. And the teens....the teen boy was busy looking at photos and doing things to himself, which they didn't have to show. Otherwise, the older teen boy acted like a five year old. No skills. Snarky. The 13 yr old girl kept having a meltdown because she wanted to watch the last episode of friends. None of them were likeable. Kevin Bacon, the neighbor prepper, had likeable possibilities, but he didn't have much of a part.

Since nobody cares except Disney anymore... Note, you'll need a client like tixati and in some places DLing is still illegal but there are like 1000 seeders up and running bittorents for it. Don't click this unless you know for sure its OK with your area. PS
0bama didn't produce it.

Brutal review to come.

Oh and that bunker food. That wasn't very much stored down there. Even little granddaughter said that it wasn't that much. And Weedy is right, not stored properly.
Why was the bunker room door left open????
I am glad I don't have Netflix.

I have recently had an awareness of people not being mentally prepared. You can have all the preps in the world, but your mind has to be prepared. You can't get hysterical. I think people get hysterical because they haven't even thought through situations.

I think of the people who cannot even think or talk preparedness, let alone deal with it when it is in their face.

I was thinking about an evacuation order, ten minutes. I know that people would be running around like chickens without their heads, just losing their minds, accomplishing nothing. It occurred to me that a good list of what to take and to have it organized would be priceless. Also, doing practice runs to see how long it really takes to pack up.

What about you? Do you have family members who cannot even discuss preparedness, let alone follow through?

I'm going to give two examples that I experienced. When I was in college, I had to sit for 120 hours in a classroom one semester, observing. One day a bee or another flying stingy thing flew into the classroom. Both teachers ran out of the room, leaving all of the children behind, because they were not prepared to deal with bees and their relatives. My grandmother would have grabbed a tissue, caught and squished that thing, pronto, throw it into the trash and carried on.

When I was a teenager, our house caught on fire. It was upstairs, where my room was. I went up and realized we had a fire. I went downstairs and calmly said, someone call the fire department, our house is on fire. I then went to the kitchen and began filling pots of water. I watched people go to the phone and not be able to dial or call. It was an interesting thing to see. Hysteria! Lack of mentally being prepared!

So what happens if in fact there is a real thing like this? Will children wander off like they did in the film? Not good. No one was mentally prepared to deal with all of the commotion.

Do you have bug out preps organized and in one location for quick loading? Do you have a list of things to remember to take? I do not! But it is something I need to work on, and I need to work on practicing loading up my car to see how it fits and what I may have to leave behind and how fast I can do it.

Well, here's my review:
White beta male's wife is a Karen-ish drunk. I wanted to slap the h377 out of her for being a b.
White beta male was a typical TV beta white boy who knew next to nothing about real life.
White beta male's son had a tiny bit of promise, he hadn't been neutered yet.
White beta male's daughter was almost useless and hopeless without her internet.
Black alpha male has good sense at least, the show hints he knows more than he tells.
Black alpha male's daughter was a typical white-hating, thin-skinned b.

OK, on to the plot:
It was mediocre at best, nowhere near as bad as the divide.
I still don't get the deer or flamingos UNLESS they were reacting to the directed energy weapons being used farther away in other areas. the sonic booms were a direct giveaway that they were mounted on drones. the stupid kid ought to have left his teeth alone! even vibrated loose the roots survived, I had a few teeth all but knocked out, and most of them survived until they rotted out a few decades later. The "prepper" guy probably won't live long acting like that. the Mexican is probably already dead, that's what you get for not learning the language of the country that you're freeloading in. Adios` Gorda chica. I doubt the "nukes?!" used on NYC were nukes, no flash. Dirty bombs maybe? Don't care. the best part of the movie was all the Tesla cars committing suicide.
this movie could be shortened to an hour and twenty minutes and you would miss NOTHING! 1 and 1/2 beers. Something to watch as a mini-series, it was pretty much crap, go watch a Jackie Chan flick.
