Looking for a jacket to wear during the winter months, medium weight, warm enough but not to bulky that i can't bend my arms. something to stay active but in hunting mode. any suggestions?

I prefer Filson and Carhartt coats. My Filson coats are oilskin and have removable wool liners for milder weather. They are wind proof and water proof, as long as you keep up on the treatment. I also have a goose down filled parka with a fur trimmed hood for cold weather.

You might look at LL Bean, their coats are rated by temperature and they wash well. I am sure there are many companies that sell similar for less.
