Loads of looting going on

Yup I have read reports of thieves using inflatables to loot empty homes, gangs going around stealing the metal ROAD CLOSED signs for scrap, Scum going to abandoned farms and factories and stealing thousands of gallons of diesel. Even scum stealing Quad bikes belonging to the Fire and Rescue services. More scum stealing neighbours sand bag defences and selling them to frightened vulnerable elderly victims. Scum stealing stocks of donated food from village halls, thefts of petrol and diesel powered water pumps from peoples homes. Even trash stealing huge piles of sandbags stored by the council and selling them in other towns.

Survivalist rule number 1 has not changed NEVER BECOME A REFUGEE and NEVER RELY ON THE AUTHORITIES TO PROTECT YOUR PROPERTY.

But then again if people are dumb enough to live alongside rivers that flood and they know the state has not dredged those rivers in 20 years, then trying to enlighten them is a waste of time

when we lived in Glastonbury the Somerset Levels flooded EVERY winter, this year has been exceptional but its not like its unexpected, live on a flood plain, next to a large river or below sea level(like the Somerset Levels is) then EXPECT to be flooded at some time, if your moving home DO YOUR HOMEWORK check for these hazards, don't as someone recently said to me buy a house just cos its within your budget and you can afford to buy it!

it's a shame and sad that folks do things like that when it comes to the looters....and have no remorse for others..but it is a good example to what things will be like after a shtf situation happens..be it a total economic collapse or what ever...
