Hello All,

I look forward to becoming an active member on the forum now since it’s looking like we’ll be told to stay home for the better part of a year. My wife and I have been kicking ourselves for the last week because we put off prepping until after our move, and we just moved to a different part of the city at the beginning of March. As a result, we had to ninja through stores at 5am to avoid crowds, and still not find what we need; even worse, pay for goods at a premium (I’m cheap)! We weren’t totally without the basic necessities, but would’ve been nice to have been stocked up before the madness. Anyways, nice to e-meet you all, since e-meeting is about the most we can do for a while.

Glad you were able to get some supplies. Always worried me about being in a large city and competing for limited resources in any emergency. Stay safe and let us know what the conditions are there.

howdy from a Texan .... and welcome to the forum and family...there's quite a few knowledgeable folks here that'll gladly tell ya what you need to know,or at least point ya in the right direction and/or give ya a good idea or 2..and by all means jump right on in with any replies you have on a topic

Good gosh BugOutHive, hope you can get caught up without going bankrupt. I also would have moved, but not without all my preps...you have lots of things here to read and write down... have fun and welcome. GP
