looking at new mowers

I am looking at Husqvarna I think they are about the best out there,but which engine is best the Kawasaki Kohler or Briggs Intek,,,,,,there is not a lot of difference in price

I had a Husqvarna mower before and loved it. It had a 24 hp Kohler engine. Never had a problem with the it. I've also got a DR brush cutter with a 23 hp Kawasaki. Both are good engines. I don't know much about the Brigs in that HP range though.
I don't think you can go wrong with any of these engines.
This summer I'll be getting a mower for the orchard and around the house. I'll probably go with the Husqvarna again.

Kohler, then Kawasaki, then Briggs.
I prefer the Ariens ZTR 25hp Kohler. The Husqvarna is also just as good. Whatever one you can get the best deal on.

I’ve got my second huskavarna now, this one is 48” and the old one is 42”. The newer one has bigger tires and never gets stuck in my hilly yard like the old one did. Really pleased with it. I took the mower deck off the old one and just use it to ride around the 2.5 acres here now, but it still runs fine. I’m not sure which engine I have but will try to look and see. Never had any engine issues. Only thing I’ve ever had to do was one of the spindles on the mower deck broke and I replaced it, but believe I hit something that caused that.

Huaqvarna is off my list,,,,the new ones have a plastic tranny in them,unless you buy one of their top end machines and I just won't drop 3k+ on a lawn mower
