Looking forward

Whats your prepping hopes and ambitions for next year? I'm hoping to get a new vehicle to fit out as a Day Van, I want to visit some Survival / Bushcraft / Prepping events. Grow a bit more of my own food and improve my back up equipment perhaps with a Genny or more PV panels.

And I hope to learn more from the level headed common sense approach to prepping that is plentiful on DPF courtesy of its international members.

Next year will be another big construction year for us up here. We're going to build the house and shop, put in solar electric with back up diesel generator, finish the chicken coop, add an extension on the new barn, build a new corral, put new siding on the old hay barn, build a new fur shed, put in the garden and orchard and bring in some cattle and hogs.

my ambitions to acomplish my prepper needs hasnt changed much over the year.so im still needing to learn and do these things..

learn how to cure animal hides.
keep moving forward in preps and life.
get a wood burning stove,and get it set-up.
get portable propane tanks..got started on it.
learn idea locations for looting.
work on g.h.b./b.o.b..
get first aid supplies.
learn sewing.
locate my home/property weaknesses and fix them.
build a Faraday cabinet and box.
get/do things for everyday comfort.
improve my knowledge/water/food and other areas that needs it.
get more hand tools.slow start on that
learn how to Distill water.
build more storage space..started working on it.
improve on my canning..started working on it..

i'm thinking of giving up forums in 2017, its not like I've converted any sheeple to prepping,and my forthright views piss a lot of people off, so maybe i'll just do my own prepping and mind my own business, especially with all the state snooping that is going on in the UK what with the new"snoopers charter" might be a good idea for "big paul" to quietly slip away and get forgotten.

My hope is that we won't need any of our preps this year. Of course I will continue working on them as always though.

Looking forward to growing my own food stores again. I'm also going to make more time for learning new skills. I would like to get better at a few things too.
I am also going to simply relax. I've spent far too many years dealing with work and looking after other people, which I have loved, but once offspring has his own home, I'm making time for me.
To add, I want to totally overhaul why and how I'm prepping. I think some things I have are now superfluous and yet in other areas I need kit and knowledge.

There is no such thing as privacy anymore, just get over it. If our govt can tap the personal phones of other countries leaders, you can but our puny ***** would be child's play.

we here don't interest the big boys that much I think,we are way too level headed it might be different if we were nutjobs and talking accordingly,but we aren't.
