Short story, my wife and I will be moving to LA (the good one) and I know reciprocity will allow my Alabama permit to be good down there.
Are there any differences in getting a permit down there?
Up here, you just hand them your drivers license, they run your record, you hand them cash and they hand you a card.
Is it like that down there? I always strive to be a law-abiding citizen whenever possible and don't want to screw up.
