It was my privilege to honor these WW2, Korea, and Vietnam vets during July 4th parades. One of the uppermost highlights of my life.

I enjoyed driving the veterans to their doctor appointments.
I met some very interesting people.
WW2 vets were my favorite people to talk with.

Independence Day is a mixed bag of emotions for me, as I grow older. It used to be parties and celebrations and now I struggle, it is difficult to celebrate what I fear we are losing.

You were/are truly blessed to be able to do that!
