My Fourteen Year-Old

I have a 14 year old boy as part of my prepping team and when he tried to create his own account, it said he was not old enough. I was wondering if he would be allowed to actively use the forums through my account, or would this be a violation of the rules? If not, then it's okay, I will tell him to find another forums. However, these forums seem like a great place for a young person to start.
