This Thursday there will be a nation wide security alert test. We will be alerted thru our cell phones and I presume thru weather alert radios, fm, am radios, tv. Any one have any thoughts on this subject?

I think it is a good thing. They need to test more often than they do. They did it once in 2011, 2017 and now in 2018. Looks they are attempting to be more organized and prepared, but it’s FEMA.. so what do you expect? They used to send out regular test on the radio and tv. I wonder why they started getting so lackadaisical?

It's only with the WEA (cell phones) but yes, it is part of the EAS
