Has anybody else seen a butterfly like this,I think it's neat looking?

(To me, it has the shape of a wild turkey with skinny legs!)

To answer your question,the spot on it's wings. A guy that replied on Imgur said it's highly reflective too.

The first picture of the list on Imgur is the close up shot and my first response was he thought it was a bigfoot :D,it does look sort of look like a bigfoot head on it :wink:.
 
Could be,I'm not a bug expert :wink:
I think he's discovered an new species.... of 'Buttermoth'.
He should document it and (since they are unknown elsewhere) they are therefore endangered:D.
If he attaches his name to it (The Brown Jerrymander), his name would live on with it forever!
There are tons of "undiscovered" species out there. (just because they haven't been documented)
Everybody should have one.:woo hoo:
