Several weeks ago I posted about the death of my Wife's Papillon, well, the Wife drove to Sparks Nevada to one of her show breeders. Talks were on going for the past two weeks and of course I had no clue, she purchased the Papillon and registered with the AKC, she registered him under Morgan Perfect Patriot as in Col. Morgan of the American Revolution. Col. Morgan guerrilla tactics were the bases for Mel Gibson movie The Patriot. Wife knew Morgan was one of my childhood hero's thus the reason for the name and I'm sure buttering me up played no role. I had no involvement in the name whats so ever nor the dog for that matter, both were a complete surprised, I'm not much of a small dog lover and she knew it.

Hey Mav, that looks like bait for a real dog.
Seriously though; Thats too cute!

I been asking to use her fake-dogs for coyote bait for years. She said no.

I think you will love your new best friend

He's been hanging out in the gun room for the past day :(

I don't think that you'd be able to get away with that. I'm sure she'd notice it missing.
I'm taking a break from working on the corral and I'm in my fur shed right now trying to warm up. My lab is curled up in his bed next to the wood stove.

last small dog i had.was when i was a young child.every dog since then.was a medium or a large dog since.then i got the dog i have now.a pomaranian.i got her at 6 weeks old.i mostly got her with my mom in mind.that was 8 years ago.i still have her.she was a big help to me when my mom passed away in 2017.my dog is the love of my life .

i think that you might end up pretty much feeling the same way about your dog..

What a handsome little guy!

Since our English lab is getting older my wife put a deposit on a puppy from the same breeder in Oxford Mississippi where we got this dog from. I hear another road trip comming up.
Hey, I love my road trips with my hunny. . . . last one was to pick up my freeze drier from WGregMiller and his wife Doreena. We dont get them often but it is great quality time. Unfortunately for you, I think you are referring to one by yourself. . . at least you would have company on your way back home. Maybe you just need to kidnap your wife for one of these upcoming adventures.

When we got our current dog I picked him out of the litter while I was on a business trip to Houston. 10 weeks later I had an employee fly him to Alaska from Mississippi, first class of course. To this day he hates hot weather and loves flying. We took him on many float plane fishing trips in Alaska. Plus he flew to Alaska from the lower 48 and his last flight was from Anchorage to Chicago.
Nope. No more road trips by myself. The wife will be home at the end of May. She just bought her plane tickets today.

I am so happy for you both!

Look at that little face! He is so cute! Congratulations to you both. You will probably end up liking the new little dog more than your wife will. Ember looks just like me every Monday morning as I get ready for work

Lol, um NO. If lisa held a vote on getting it me and all 5 big dogs would vote no and how do I know, the 3 rotties are outside, ember is in the mud room and the dobie is in the basement I think, none of them wants to be around it.

So cute. The Britney is great too.

Someone dropped a Bijan Poo here 7 years ago and mom kept it. I hate when she barks which is quite often.

I have big dogs with big barks that don't pierce your ear drums.

Yappy dogs get on my last nerve. When I’ve had small dogs I’ve trained them to not bark by flipping them in the nose when they did. Never had one that barked after I got it trained.
