New Gun sales are up

when I picked up my 1911 I heard the sales clerk talking about sales that New guns were booming and the used gun market was down,,I then noticed that their shelf's were getting pretty bare about half of what they usually would have,,,,,I asked what was the reason and he says there is a assault weapon ban bill in the works that would effect even the trusty old 1911,it would be considered an assault weapon because of the magazine and it held more than 5,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,I don't see it passing ,but anytime this crap goes on sales boom and cause's panic buying

Every tme they start the banning talk, sales pick up. The gun shops love all of their whining.

That' when it gets hard to find 22 ammo. The gun shop says that's the one they can't keep in stock.
