I have no reason to get out just yet. When I wake up one day miserable, I'll know its time.

Welcome pride-6! Thnx for yor service! Hope you have some good survival gouge (thats an army term right?)!

I'd like to think I have some gouge. I am not sure where the term came from. But I certainly know what it means. I have been to several different SERE schools, but the most important thing I have ever learned Is that survival is a personal issue. You have to choose items that work for you, and you have to know how to use them! It does you little good to stock a bag full of items that you can't use. I am sure most know this, but some may not.
