I've been gradually becoming more and more prepared over the years but I am here to hopefully elevate my game and maybe learn a few things that I have not already learned. I am highly interested in DIY projects for bug out videos and also for gardening and other skills in sustainability. I am happy to be here.

Welcome from Tennessee . There is a group that sales a dvd on Ebay called Country living . Its really low budget and comes in a white sleeve but it has a lot of info on it . Im not pushing it or have any connection to it . I ran across it while looking for something else .

Welcome to the forum! If you like gardening for sustainability, the book "carrots love tomatoes" is an excellent reference for companion planting. It may be based on similar tastes in pH levels, things like one plant that creates chemicals to keep certian bugs off others, a whole variety of why what gets planted where. Most garden books say "this is a raised bed..." or "heres how to compost" or "heres how to build a cold frame". Few books get into the actual beneficial and harmful plant relationships like this one.

Ain't that the truth! Who knew potatoes and onions hated each other so much. . . I didn't till I started reading up on companion plantings years ago. It holds true in storage too. Don't mix them or put them next to each other. The gases they release will make them rot.
