I received an updated modem from Hughesnet for our Internet service.

Everything going is working, but I cant get my Samsung android to work. Ive restarted everything, no luck.

Any ideas. Some said my phone may not accept the new higher powered modem.

Make sure wifi is turned on your phone. Then you have to pair phone to modem. It will ask for password which should be on side of modem.

Did all that. I guess I'll call ATT or Samsung. My tablet is Samsung too. Bought them the same day. Looks like they would both work

JimLE, we don' have cable or any choices but satellite where I live. I love Hughesnet. Had it for 20 years. They say that their upgrade isn't compatible with the phone.

I was on hold so long, my house phone battery died before I could even talk to a tech. Must be a busy day.

Got it fixed. Just had to change one setting.
