It's about dam time. What a silly waste of resources it's been all these years too. If China helped, good for them. If Trump had anything to do with this, good for him.
Even if this works out I don't see the US closing anything down. War is too big a business, and fear of war keeps the tax dollars flowing in to the government.

Yep, I see great things for defense stocks this year. sadly, they are WAY out of my price range for most of them. Typically 200+ or 300+ a share for most

I thought that was why the Korean war was fought, to keep the communist north apart from the consumer south, if they amalgamate who's going to run it? the little fat kid from NK? yeah right.

I don't think there is ANY inkling of combining. They will still be separate, just not technically at war any longer. Let's face it, a nearly 70 year old armistice is a bit ridiculous.

shows how stupid the Korean thing is anyway, wife's ex was a merchant seaman and spent a lot of time in that area, he says the Koreans, even the Southerners, are all automatons anyway they aren't human.

I don't much care what goes on over there,,,it to far away to do me any real harm

fair enough....but it does have a bearing on our relationship with China, which is always good to be cognizant of.

Like it or not though, China's success, and that of the US, are locked at the hip.

someone making money by importing it.
a lot of stuff these days is made in China and then imported, clothes for instance.

Most products were once made in the USA before, and can be again. Sure, it will be painful for awhile for those who are addicted to buying cheap inferior crap and don't care about quality. But they'll get over it. For those of us who care about buying quality products made by Americans wont notice the difference.
